The last straight line for the horizontal stabilo.

Used the hand squeezer to rivet all remaining side rivets on HS706, HS405 and HS404. The 3/32 rivets are much easier to set by hand, although that after pushing 100 of them, your arms will start feeling the work.
But the reward is there, nicely set rivet shop heads. The picture below shows the process on the HS404. Remove a cleco, set a rivet, and up to the next.

Small advice, use a AN426AD3-4.5 rivet on theĀ  junction of 702,405 and skin. The result is a much nicer rivet head with remaining minimal thickness. The 4 on the plans is just too short, even if you squeeze the parts together with a clamp.

And then the stabilo was completly done.

You will notice that there are still cleco's and unrivetted parts on the rear spar. I can not close these as there is a mandatory inspection by the 'bestuur der luchtvaart' (Belgian authorities) and they will inspect rivet per rivet on the inside.
Only after the inspection, the part will be permanently closed.

I will do some touch-up corrosion protection when priming the other parts to cover the small scratches made by rivetting.

Total work time on the horizontal stabilo was 78 hours and 45 minutes.
