Installation of the brake pedals and brake lines. I assembled the brake pedals on the steel welding structure of the pedal assembly and bolted the moving pedals using castle nuts and cotter pins.

Next installed the AN822 elbows with thread sealant to the brake cylinders.

I am using after market flexible brake lines instead of the teflon lines provided by Vans. In order to pass the cylinders I aligned the AN822 in such a way that the lines could run parallel to eachother.
The bottom ones point a little more inwards, the top ones are straight up.

Another view of the brake pedal assembly.

Temporarily fit the flexible hoses. It looks like a mess.

Initially I tried routing the line through the front hole but this isn't secure enough. I made 2 markings on the brake pedal brace and drilled for 2 bushing in the indicated black circle locations.

In the picture below, I used strips to keep the lines together and ran the crossing line through the new bushings in the brace.

Torqued the lines in all positions.

This thing is ready to fly ! Only the connection to the brake cylinder reservoir is still loose as I'm waiting for hardware to attach the brake cylinder to the firewall.
