Picked up work on the airplane after some time off. One month holiday in Canada followed by some hip surgery kept me from working on the airplane. But finally I'm mobile enough again to continue.
Decided that one of the next steps after mounting the empenage would be to rivet the aft top skins on.
In preperation of that, I remounted the stiffeners and had a close incpection of all the rivets in the tailsection. This is easier done now with the skins of than later when you have to crawl into the back of the fuselage.
Some year ago, I had to remake the passenger side J-stiffener because it moved while drilling and the forward tap was way below edge distance.
Vans Support advised to replace it with a new one and who am I to question the mothership's advices. So some time ago redrilled this and primed the part.

It all looks great now. I just had to fine tune the spacing between the bulkheads and the stiffener a bit to avoid chafing due to vibrations. Small corrections and now all looks great.

Clecoed the aft top skins on for the last time.
