Have I ever told you how much I hate priming ?

well, here it is... "I haaaaaaaaate priming !!!"

First of all, I'm not good at it. Secondly, the zinc chromate is dangerous and thus gives me a constant unsecure feeling when doing it.

On top of that, it was a misty day with a lot of moisture forming all over the place and as you can guess, those are not the ideal conditions for spray painting.

But, managed to get all done. Not perfect, layer again little too thick to my idea of ideal priming.

I reused the fuselage kit box to make a spray box. The rear spars don't fit in my spray booth so i had to do this outside. This box is also usefull to take the parts out of the spray booth and let the parts dry for a moment without the constant mist of the paint around.
I attached first a layer of plastic. The idea is to spray water on this plastic before you start in order to keep the dust down.

All ribs and rear spar components are ready now and we can go on with rivetting. The great reward that compensates this misery

This weekend is rivetting time ! Joeeehoeee !
