No bird ever flew nonstop from New York to Tokyo, or raced 15 miles high at triple the speed of sound.
  But birds do something else.
They do not conquer the air; they romance it.

Some decisions in life are bare of any obvious logic

I got to the point of baggage area work and was at the point of rivetting the F-750 AFT baggage side covers.

Fortunatly, I gave this a bit more thinking before rivetting them in because I found out that the rudder cables that I put in earlier actually need some snap bushings installed in the opposite direction.

To install the rudder cable, you will see that the aft side connector has to be pushed through the snap bushings. This is not just having them go through while they are installed. that will not work as the connector is too large for the diameter of the bushings. You will need to take out the bushing and squeeze it gently so the opening is a bit oval and then the cable connector slides through when you put some pressure on it.

But ! Once the F-750 cover goes on, there is no way you will be able to get out the bushing again if it's installed with the rear side in the back. (That's how I had put them in initally).
If ever you need to replace are service the cable after your plane is finished, it should still be possible to replace cable or bushings if they need to be replaced due to wearing out.

So I had to take the whole cable back out and rerun it through each bulkhead thinking about direction. (read: "this is not fun")

The correct way to install the bushings is shown in the image below. Pay close attention to the direction the bushing is installed.

The same applies to the F-704 center section pass through as this will also be hidden

Then when I was sure about all bulkhead pass through's, I pop rivetted and installed the solid rivets in the F-750.

Both installed and baggage floors clecoed in place.

How to use

Use the kit buttons in the top ribbon bar to see a chronological overview per sub section per kit. For the full chronological article list, see chronological build link in prelude menu here below. The easiest way to lookup information is by typing in some part numbers or keywords using the search option in the ribbon bar
